Discover the vibrant capital of Thailand on this 3-day, 2-night Bangkok cultural experience, combining the city’s fascinating royal heritage, magnificent temples, and authentic riverside life.
Upon arrival, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel and free time to relax or explore Bangkok at your own pace. The following day, embark on a cultural journey through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Grand Royal Palace, the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, home of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho with its impressive Reclining Buddha, and Wat Traimit, renowned for its Golden Buddha.
Continue your exploration with a memorable long-tail boat excursion along the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s traditional canals, offering a unique perspective of local life and the city’s historic waterfront. Visit the spectacular Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s most recognizable temples, before returning to your hotel for leisure.
Upon arrival, have your free time for leisure or wander around the city to admire the tranquil atmosphere in its surroundings. Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.
Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world-famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then a short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Lunch on your own account and in the afternoon we will take our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.
After breakfast, drive to visit Chiang Saen, the ancient city located on the Khong Riverbank. After that, visit the House of Opium Museum which shows about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. Have lunch by your own account at the local restaurant on the Golden triangle. Taking a boat trip along the Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle before transferring back to Chiang Rai for your flight to next destinations.
